Today i drained the gas tank, changed the oil ,installed a some new fuel line , weeded out the wire harness , cleaned the oil intake . changed spark pugs removed the inner a/c heater ducting ( it was half off anyway ) attempted to put a seat in ( The pedistals are in the way that hold the hydro pistons ) Attemped to start it got nothing , worked on the wiring again , tried to start it again and it turned over . I can keep it running if i poor gas in the carb , i think i need to add more to the tank maybe or check the pick up . but i had it running today . | | | Re: Radical Dodge show van from the 70's For Sale | Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 3,434 | Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 3,434 | well that's just awesome. good luck with it joe. keep us updated with pics if you do anything else to it.

As for Towin her , well let me tell ya something . This thing is like Fat Bastered and weighs a metric ton . I was worried that the trailer pin would brake or a strap on those hills in NY . There was two times where the Ford back tires broke lose on the climb on two of the hill because the pitch was so bad . But yet your not allowed on the palisades parkway with a truck or trailer . That don't make sence , since it's a safer rout . That'll teach ya! and now you know that a dodge can only be pulled by a dodge! | | | Re: Radical Dodge show van from the 70's For Sale | Joined: Aug 2001 Posts: 12,107 Likes: 37 Maniac | Maniac Joined: Aug 2001 Posts: 12,107 Likes: 37 | Too bad about the interior, but I would say that gives you an excuse to do what you want. You could rig up a really sweet space/future themed interior with lots of lights, especially with the advances in LEDs and fiber optics that have happened since this van was built. More pics please!

The truck did really well if fact it didn't have any other issuse other then the tires skipped a beat . It pulled that up no problem . I was more worried about the trailer . And it got great gas mileage . | 1 member likes this:
