I just gave a 67 VW away to a co-worker i'm on the fence about selling my 61 rat rod . If i Keep Nebula i'll have to move something .


Today i drained the gas tank, changed the oil ,installed a some new fuel line , weeded out the wire harness , cleaned the oil intake . changed spark pugs removed the inner a/c heater ducting ( it was half off anyway ) attempted to put a seat in ( The pedistals are in the way that hold the hydro pistons ) Attemped to start it got nothing , worked on the wiring again , tried to start it again and it turned over . I can keep it running if i poor gas in the carb , i think i need to add more to the tank maybe or check the pick up .
but i had it running today .

Too bad about the interior, but I would say that gives you an excuse to do what you want. You could rig up a really sweet space/future themed interior with lots of lights, especially with the advances in LEDs and fiber optics that have happened since this van was built. More pics please!

The truck did really well if fact it didn't have any other issuse other then the tires skipped a beat .
It pulled that up no problem . I was more worried about the trailer .
And it got great gas mileage .

I was just joking about the truck.I don't care if you tied mules to your trailer to pull her home.The point is you have saved a beautiful van.

Hey, the Hornets Nest would be less work! Plus it is a sweet little shorty.

It is an interestingvan and I really like how the made the rear spoiler look like it extended down the body. and the removal of the rain gutters is interesting.
