Okay, this is for those who have done a V-8 swap in their Astro. I am thinking about putting a 350 TBI in my 1992 Astro CS 2wd some day in the future. My Astro has the 3.23 rear end, the "Z" 4.3 tbi, and what ever trans came in a 1992. I know the 5.7 TBI is more or less a bolt up, and here in Oklahoma we do not have emissions to worry about, so all is well there.
My question is this, on the highway, at 75mph, what kind of MPG do you get with your 5.7 Astro, on flat or flatter land , cruise control set. Basically traveling with the family type of driving. The answers I get will have SOME effect on my decision to do this, but not alot. . . .
I want to be able to
more than get GREAT MPG. lol
