Found this van book on ebay, never saw it before. It might be of interest to any belgian vanners on here. Shipping to Ireland is too much for my wallet.

Just found another one for €11 including shipping. I've been going crazy building my van library tonight. I've also bought
Super Vans,
Vans the personality vehicle,
The complete book of Vans
and
Van People the great american rainbow boogie!
I bought Vans a book of rolling rooms there recently as well.

Yeah I've got it bad! I notice you have two different Super Vans books, are they reprints of the same book, revised editions or totally different books. Also what are the Red and Black books at the top of the photo between "Van Ideas and Plans" and "Vans and Vanners"?

Nope different books! The red and black books are like year books from high school. They were done by Raoul a few years back. Vanner's Yearbooks!

Shaggy, thanks for posting the link! I missed that auction, but I just managed to score a copy of "Van People" which supposedly is signed by the author. Not too expensive thankfully. I think it's safely under the post-holiday expenditure threshold at which my other half would kill me...

;0)

Are there any of these books you'd really consider to be "must-haves"? I did get a great copy of Vans - Rolling Rooms thanks to another of your links. I was really surprised at only having seen pictures of one or two of the vans in it before.

Clear skies!

Maybe a moderator could merge these two threads???

I believe it is the "Harem"! I haven't seen it in many years! Was big in the mags, as many years ago!
