Hello everybody. I have a problem, my friend has an aerostar. I know alot of people dont like them, but he does, my problem is i want him to start coming to events with us. Iam trying to get him to customize his van, but he said people dont fix them up they just talk about them. This is where the vanners come in if anybody has pictures of AEROSTARS customized i wish you would put a picture of it on here that way i could show him .That way i could get him to work on his van and come to an event. THANK YOU cheers

dont think I have any pics.,but if your buddy likes his aerostar, that is all that counts. He would certainley be welcomed at any truck-in.A nice set of tires and wheels, fresh paint with graphics or stripes some interior work and you have a custom van. I know it isnt that easy but you can start somewhere. Not sure if any after market stuff is available, someone on this forum would know. good luck !!!!

Aerostars are cool, you just have to make the cool. You can get a blower for the 3.0 now! It would be a tight fit, but would be cool!

I know that the aerostars are not the most "cool" vans out their but I would tell you-if I would see one at a truck'n I would look over it!

My fiancee and I just bought a 1990 Aerostar with a 3.0 v6 with a 5 speed stick shift. Runs and shifts good even at 141k or 241k miles (the odo and service records dont agree with each other).
What is the name of this engine? Also, what other direct bolt on upgrades are available to improve the reliability and maybe performance? Not looking for anything radical because this is my daily driver and will be used for towing and hauling heavy building materials in most hiway & a little city.
TIA, AuSSenseiter
