A good weekend overall.

finished the list of deficiencies from the inspection, including brake bleeding
finished welding in of new panels on the floor (previous welds failed inspection). It was warmer outside, used a higher heat setting, welds all laid down nice on the first try!
All that's left is to grind down welds on exterior panels and cover with rust paint as a temporary fix... and back for reinspection.
Jim, I'm really glad to hear that you had a good weekend! Did your van tell you it's name yet?
