Well I had a busy weekend getting lift installed in the shop..I'm sure Ken will approve of a new toy in his shop ;) Here are some pics..still need to clean it up a little but it works like a charm and for $600.00 I'm extremely happy grin

Nice lift. laugh

I could use one of those in my skinny 12' wide shop, it'd sure make a lot of things easier.

Six bucks ain't a bad price either, darn good find.

I changed oil, greased the van, tuned the engine, cleaned the shag carpet, and drained a few beer cans. Not a bad weekend.

Let's see...I repaired the electrical hack jobs on the '72 Dodge and then completed the brake overhaul on the GMC. A good weekend overall.

I had good progress with the G20, too...

finished the list of deficiencies from the inspection, including brake bleeding

finished welding in of new panels on the floor (previous welds failed inspection). It was warmer outside, used a higher heat setting, welds all laid down nice on the first try!

All that's left is to grind down welds on exterior panels and cover with rust paint as a temporary fix... and back for reinspection.

Jim, I'm really glad to hear that you had a good weekend! Did your van tell you it's name yet?

vanatic, nice lift! That'll be fun!
