Oh I know that about the breeze. I have pop out windows in all my doors, just not the 2 I bought from Phoenix. And i just sold 2 chrome pop outs, and the rusty doors. Now I just need to find 2 windows I took out of the other 2 rusty doors. They might be buried under the 6-8 inches of snow we now have...aaaaarg.

The trick Ive found tinting is to use distilled water with your soap on a warm not breezy day.

Real fine steel wool and Ammonia Windex to clean the glass first too. Also tack cloth.

Nice
I did the same thing back in the seventies with a donor van and my '73 fixed window rears. Holes were provided By Dodge and gaskets pulled right out of the donor and mine pushed right out. One thing about Dodge they made everything very easy about swapping parts They were all fitted with holes for the full upgrade and bought with options paid for. so it was easy to upgrade , because all the drilling and punching was already done. Gaskets fit on the same window openings. it was all great, I still have my old flip out rear glass, could not rid myself of them as they had a lot of old stickers from my first evants

Cheers!

Hi All
Just did this on the barn doors of my '79 B200' following the post, what a fantasic set of instructions, thanks vervepipes!!!!. My before and after photos are below. As you can see the guy who fitted the window tint on my original windows may have got one or two air bubbles in them!

Thanks Guys, really pleased with the new windows and as you say getting some airflow in the back is going to be a real advantage, I'm over in the UK and was lucky enough to find someone breaking a Dodge van as there not that many around and got a good deal on the windows and all the ancilleries.
