I, as a profession, and on a daily basis send 1072 different parts to Mexico, to be assembled into " North American built Automobiles ". These parts are from off shore.

As much as I agree with everyones freedom of choice on their transportation, and as a personal preference, I prefer researching the vehicles I buy, and their origin, especially of the parts.

I am not right or wrong, just a personal preference. That is all.

I agree Doc. My '94 Dodge was built in Canada, my '72 in Detroit, and my GMC in Canada!

Hmmm, my 91 Dodge is built in Canada, but built for and sold new in the US, and then imported back into Canada. While my 82 Dodge was built in Canada for Canada.

Also, there's a nice panel HHR, in Volume34 of Truckin'. I just picked it up yesterday(thursday) and leafed through, looking for any vans, and stumbled upon this cool lookin HHR Panel.
