The rear vibrates a bit, (u joint I am sure) and the heater is not working for some reason. Other than that I had no issues. Had a ton of fun. I slept in her and everything. BERRRRRRRR. LOL Me and my girls father are going to give her a good look over and he well find out and fix the vibration.
Once all bugs are worked out, trip to the grand canyon!!! I have lived here 6 years this month and have never seen it.
So far so good. I am happy, even if it is a Dodge!!!! :P just playing guys, put the sticks down.

Hopefully it's just a u-joint, and not a dinged driveshaft. Thats what my '91 Dodge SB had, and it cost a bunch too have a new one made.
Good luck with her.

I was told about the shaft bending on these long vans. It looks good, but what is a dinged driveshaft? Tell me the symptoms. | | | Re: whats doing. Was about the size of a quarter, and about 3/8" deep. Was enough to cause the vibration, and chew my u-joints. | | | Re: whats doing. I will look into that too, thanks for the tip. | | | Re: whats doing. Sometimes they can be straightened. If not, maybe a junkyard shaft?? Hopefully just joints for you though. May recommend duct taping and greasing before you install as they are a bear to reach after....
How do you know it won't work? Have you tried it, yet?? Mad Anthony Vanners - Looking for more members

If the U-joints and driveshaft check out okay, then there's a good chance the pinion bearing in the differential is going bye-bye. Unfortunately the Chrysler 9.25" rears are notorious for this and I'm 99.999999% sure this is what rear you have. It was pretty much standard issue.
Heater not working could be several things. Clogged heater core, bad heater valve, or the blend doors aren't working properly in the HVAC plenum.

I will note ALL this down and hand it to my girl's father. He is the one that knows all this stuff. I only know basic repair and PM when it comes to vehicles.
Once again, this is the best place to be, you folks rock. | | |
