Here is the unforunate "down side" to building a "Daily Driver".
I had a no side door Early that I considered a "Show Van" but I wanted to drive back and froth to work in a van also.A co worker put this 77 up for sale freash poorly done black Imron paint job ,a 350/Th350 auto.I drove the van for a while.Rebuilt the 350, headers new exaust new tires on all four corners. It was supposed to go to the paint shop on Monday.
On Thursday night I was making the left had turn into out van club meeting and got nailed from behind by another van and drove into uncomming traffic.I got center punched by a Toyota pick up comming the other way.
My oldest dauhghter was in the van next to me in a car seat between the seats.Luckily she did not get hurt. All I got out of the deal was a nasty case of whip lash. The van did not fair out so well.I truly beleve if I was not driving a van it would have been allot worse.........
I only got to attend 2 events with this van,"Van Stomp" and "Spring Thaw".I never got good any pictures of it before the crash.............Wookee
