My '94 was that way and I swapped the switch for (IIRC) a '78 Camaro switch because the old slide-in mount was still in place. Works great but I don't have cruise on the "94. Chevy changed the pedal lever for '95. Next time you get a chance measure the distance between the brake pedal and the side of the doghouse. The '95 and up have an extra inch because GM decided a manual w/clutch would no longer be offered and so there would be room to move the brake pedal 1 inch to the left. (a little nickel knowledge there laugh )
Yep, light switch mounted to the rod. It's those damn tangs on the sides that get you. Warren I reinstalled it today I broke those off so that next time it'll be a one screwdriver type of deal.

This one has cruise so I'm gonna keep the switch where it is. And I guess it's dumb luck that I ended up in a '95... Good thing with my leg and all. At 6'2" I need all the extra leg room I can get.
