thanks for the video link! I will definitely look back at it if I ever do an LS swap.

it looks like if they were not using a dry sump oiler and had a 78+ opening, they wouldn't have had to do any cutting. I know that my dad had to do some cutting to mount an LS into his 57, but he wanted to keep the F Body Low mount accessories (AC, ALT, etc), and I think that was the only reason he needed to make room. he also had to modify the oil pan to clean and work with the Rack and Pinion system he also used. Now, you can buy aftermarket pans to fit basically everything.
