Time for another novice question:

I'm wiring an alternator, 2 batteries & Isolator. Do I use 8 gauge -OR-10 gauge wire?

This is what I'm thinking of ordering... but figured I'd ask to be safe:

Apparently it is "AWG" wire -- which I think doesn't make a difference. But then again, I don't know what the hell I'm doing so better to ask BEFORE I do it.
