I have had an account here for years, but I just now took the plunge and got a van. I am picking up a 91 G10 shorty next week. My plan for it is to make a burner party van. Burner, in this instance, means someone who goes to burns (aka regional burning man events) .
Because burns are usually in the woods, I will be building it to be as tough as it is flashy. I plan on doing the exterior in sea foam green and pink monstaliner. Building a party deck on the roof and making the inside suitable for pyschedlic explorations. I am not keeping it era correct, but moreso taking creative license to use modern materials that would have been used had they been available in the 70's.
My good friend just got back from the van nats and I am hopin to have it done (well stage one done) in time to take it put there next year.
