new to the site. I ran across this site just by chance and it brought back so many memories i had to join. A brief history about me.
Im 61 years old this year so i got the see the early years of vanning and events on the west coast. My first van i bought a couple years out of high school in around 1977. I was living in southern oregon and joined a club called High Cascade Van Club and started my parties . I eventually moved to nor cal and preceded to join Nor Cal Van Club. An event that i can still remember is shake n bake and still have a few buttons from some of the events. sadly i never saved the dash plaques. Ive not had a van in ages but lately been thinking about an early 60s dodge seeing as how im a mopar guy. I dont even have any photos anymore, but sure remember all the murals on the vans. One guy was a YES fan and had the album cover on the sides. im rambling now so ill check out, take care everyone.
