I imagine they will probably use the newer style gasket, being the originals are hard to find anymore. I would recommend a windshield with at least the tinted band at the top edge, if not completely tinted. My first Mid which was a 74 had clear glass, the sun would bake your legs while driving. My 76 has the band at the top.
