So 2 years ago at the nationals in Ohio (maybe 3 in Wisconsin?) There was a yellow vehicle That was made from a Ford car front end with a full-size Chevy Van rear end that was all grafted together. It was actually a pretty cool vehicle but like the PT cruiser panel Trucks that people may I'm sure the title said car. Why was this one let n to the nationals? Just asking...
It was let in because : they had called the host club and asked if they would be allowed into the NATS. The member mistakenly told them YES (they should have checked with a member of the NATS board)When they arrived at the gate at Wisconsin, after driving from
Nebraska, It was questioned again whether to allow in.
It was decided not to punish them for the misdeeds of the Host club, but to allow them in just this once. So they got in with the understanding the vehicle would not be let in in the future. They had a great time, really enjoyed the run,and were invited to come back with a complete
VAN.
