Maybe you can get in touch with Marty. He has done several which makes him an expert. At least he knows what not to do... Sounds like fun!
I think I am going to reach out to him to get some advice. The hinge set up I am going to use is based off of the one on Utopia (there are several good pictures of it on the internet). It is heavy duty and will allow the front to come off entirely. I do plan on using an actuator to open and close it but I would like to talk to him about locking mechanisms/latches and also ask him about any things he has learned about what to do OR what not to do with a tilt front end.
