I am looking for pics of 70's chevy vans that have had big blocks put in them. I would like to see how tight the engine compartment is and how much room is left. Also anyone have any interior pics that show a aftermarket rachet shifter in a 70's van. I am getting ideas for my project 76 Chevy G20 shorty.

Thanks in advance

Here is a link to Joe Van's 'Stow-Away' 1975 Chevy outta Florida. Has a swapped in big block.

Also, 'Utopia' has a swapped in big block, but I can't locate a pic of it.
I have an old Van magazine from the 70's that shows a big block being swapped into a 70's Chevy van. Was basically a bolt-in.
As for a floor shifter, the only one I have seen on here is in Jonny O's Dodge van. Think it's a B&M unit mounted on the floor. Brad

not bad! i like the plexi-glass engine-vision. wouldnt mind doing it on the 68 a108 but the powerplant sits right next to you. any safty concerns with doing that?

I would use lexan. Most race cars use it for their glass. Would be safer if something was to happen. Brad
