Windows- they're what make a van worth owning! | | | Re: Cannonball Run Ambulance / Vent Window DYI Info | Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 12,847 Maniac | Maniac Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 12,847 | I love my vent windows! They only squeal when they are closed and I am travelling at highway speeds. If it's too cold or wet to open them, I just stick a quarter between the latch and the chrome strip to seal them up a little tighter and voila! No more squeal! ............ ...... I bet there is a similar way to tighten up the latch on your 75.

But I ended up putting in the non-opening wing windows a couple months ago. I did have to grind down the black plastic piece on the wing window where the screw goes through the door into the wing window. There is only 1 screw holding it there where as on the old one there were places for 3 but mine had only 2 in it. Also the opening wing window was connected to the door at the bottom. The non-opening one connects to the inner door panel. Not too hard to do. I'm very happy with it. | | |
