Wondering the best way to lower a G10 Van. Are there any kits on the market. Low cost options, etc.

Thanks

Welcome.
You can go springs or spindles or both.
But either way you must post pictures! Might be a law, I don't know. grin
Some info on dropped spindles here:

There are many other posts on this, just do a search and they should pop up.

What year is the van?

Hello, my van is a 90' G10.
I don't know where to get springs to lower my van. Are there other springs that will be compatible like 73-87 Chevy?
Future plans is to bag it with 3 or 4 link and mini tubs.
That's a long way off so for now I really want to just get it dropped as cheaply as possible.
I have a real good spring company out here that will re-arch me leafs, so that leaves lowering coils in the front to locate.
I have some pics on Car Domain of my van, will post progress on there as well.

Hey Catfish,

Do you know where I can get lowering springs for my van ? 1990 G10. DO you have pics of your Chevy lowered and how much was it lowered ?
I have a company that is going to re-arch the rear leafs for me but need to get front springs.

Thanks

Summit will have 'em or you can check with your local low-rider shops. The problem you'll have with most mail order places like Summit or Jegs is they don't have a listing for vans. You'll need to order springs for a mid-eighties pick-up.
If you've never done any suspension lowering, hit your local car shows and talk to the clubs you see there. They usually know more about local sources that can save you a ton of time and effort.
