So, this is what I need to replace, the window rattles/falls out of the runner when I roll it down. Plus, it lets rain in so I have to fix this to get the panels on.

The second shot is of what JC whitney sent me and I dont think it s the right stuff (???). Not sure if you can tell by the photo, but if it is the right stuff then how do you run it????

Hey thanks for the reply. I ended up buying a set and installing one pair on the drivers side door. Was able to run it, but now the window is pinched. It s like the seal is too tight because when the regulator moves, then glass doesnt. Too tired to mess with it now, have to move on to another area (if I m ever going to finish!!!)

Was able to get the weather stripping and did the driver s side window. I found that the window regulator moves but the the glass does not (????) What is the piece called that holds to window/glass in the regulator and where does one get it????

Also, I still need to get the weatherstripping for the triangle vent window. That is a critical piece that I cannot find anywhere! I cannot get my stereo in until I get the doors sealed.

If anyone could share some info I would really appreciate it!

thanks

From what research I have done so far the only way I know to seal the triangle vent windows is to find some off of another vehicle that has the same size window and order the seals for it. Jcwhitney has plenty of the seals for them but they are none available for vans. Plenty of other vehicles to compare to though.

have you looked for vent widows with good seals in a junkyard...?

it's very possible to pull the glass out of the channel it's sitting in - then transfer your glass over to the 'new' vent window track...

i believe you need to heat up the little channel that holds the glass, to remove it's adhesive - then pull the glass out...

there are those little channels without the glass all over ebay...
