We think so too! I wish we didn't have to work it. well what we define as work...
Hmmmm...looks interesting. Only 557.23 miles from here. Don't know if I have any plans that weekend.

...This year, I'm going to secure my van keys (and my wallet....and my phone) in a safe place. :-)
I plan to make it, but my first born will be 3 months old, so who knows if i will be able to.
I had a seriously good time at the last one. Way to take care of us bluegrass!
billy that would be wise man! you might be able to leave on time, and you won't have to escort my expired tag van through ohio again!

Utah do what ya can! we hope to see but if not we usually plan on doing it again so there's always 2012.
Gloworm & I haven't missed in over 30 years so ya know we will be there!
And yes it's a great start to the vanning season!
Me and Tiger well be there ,this time I hop im a bit early
like Thur ok
Charley
Ps well be looking for a place to park untill
I well be going to Spring Fever in May ?????
I was trying to find directions o ther, but couldn't get them via Mapquest, or TomTom.com I need an address and a Phone number of someone to speak with on this matter. Could you please help?
Try sending Matchstick a private message. He gets on here pretty regular and will be more than happy to help.

Directions off the flyer read fairly well, but there are a couple of 'jogs' in the town right nearby.

Old Mill Campground in Friendship IN. The place is very small, and it is easy to find the grounds only knowing the name of them and the town name. But, give Matchstick a shout and he can probably get you the lat and long numbers for a tech map.
Hello fellow vanners.. im one of the new guys..but very proud to be a vanner !! I have had 5 chevy vans in my 35years of life,78 beauville ,83 conversion, 87 conversion. My daily driver 85 coversion, but my latest is a 76 tan carpet wagon, that we only use for van-ins'. We made spring back last year to mark our first event( awesome time, and awesome folks),then we hit butler. Our close friends from home "hillbilly vanners" welcomed us to their campsite, another great time!! Thanks guys! Cant wait to start this year, spring back to kik it off. And love the comment(anyone can drive a van, but a vanner goes to the rallys...so true) So i can be honest in saying im a vanner!2%!! And to see our friends from last year, and making new old friends. Cant wait . . .76GASHOG
Hey there gas hog where ya from? I was at spring back and butler last year. Can't believe I didn't see ya? if you're anywhere near louisville give us a shout and come hang out some. we're always gettin warmed up for the truckin' season if ya know what I mean.
welcome aboard GasHog!
Hey matchstick... Ashland is home, so were like neighbors. And will 4sure give ya a ring if we get up that way. Maybe we did talk @ spring back??, it was our first event..so we took a lot in! haha. I will make sure to meet up with ya there, if not before. And same offer goes out to you if your in the Ashland area...
Thanks for the welcome SUPERBEAST...hope to see ya at some functions this year to. Nice ride!
Cool gashog so you might now the bluegrass vanners of ashland then? that's definitely your neck of the woods. We definitely plan on being at spring back, but if ya make it out to our event then I guess we'll see ya then or both. I can't wait myself. I'm getting cabin fever.

well, im deffinatly going. any discount or prize for drivin-in a canoe?? been planning a canoe trip down the river, and realized today that the ohio river connects to friendship, IN via a river just past Arora... was gonna canoe from cleveland, but due to time restraints, i may put-in at cincinatti on the ohio r. and just paddle on over from there. (cuts off about 300 nautical mi.)

:-) look for the canoe, i'll be using the back-door. :-)
Tick Tock.... Tick Tock...

OMG! I sure paid for it later.
That one definitely made my top 5 list of all time worst hangovers - EVER! Allegedly I had fun getting there, but I don’t think I'll be repeating that one any time soon. I still cringe when I think about it, I felt like crap for several days after we got back. ....lessons learned....
Hey Billy--
You bringing something yummy to Bluegrass? We might have a SMALL (just a few people) tasting at camp--we got some out-of-region flavors coming in!! So, save a bottle or two and stop on over to our house!
Sounds awesome! I wont have any homebrew. but.... I can snag some stuff from local breweries up here. Not all of them have bottle lines, so it may end up being a few growlers.
mmmmmm samples drool
That will be great HomeBrew--just our campsite, you, the stick and mags..we'll be fine--plus the IBOBing will help too! See ya Friday!
The Phoenix is ready to fly
Hell Yeah! Were pullin straws for Driver. The rest is all down hill! lol
weather lookin good for fri and sat!! lets truck it!!on to the JAM!!
So wish we could afford to go. Just not happening. Hope everyone has a great time.

It was great to see everyone, and really cool to have some Vanners that haven't been there in a while back with us. Tommy Trucker followed us down, and it was great to have him back!!! Michelle was there also, it was awesome seeing her too!!! Tommy had the Binford roaring on Sat afternoon, with a good crowd, and Princess, Darrin, and Vanatics had the Lemonade stand going also!!!
I'm still recovering!! I'll try to post my pics tonight.
I'm Glad the weather was Nice for the weekend , sure makes for a More enjoyable vannin. A Nice turnout for Sure.
What a beautiful weekend and a great start to the vannin season. It was great seeing everyone. Thank you Bluegrass Vanners for everything you did this weekend! I’m very glad I came down!!!
While I’m on here I want to apologize the loud, drunk, belligerent guy that came with us. I’m rather embarrassed for him and for our club. I hope no one was really offended. Fun is Fun and all….but when it becomes obnoxiously disrespectful and starts interfering with other people having a good time – that’s not fun anymore. He should just stay home if he’s going to act like that.
