Charles H. "Chop-Chop" Jones Jr., 65, of 102 Shippen Street, Middletown, departed this life suddenly on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at his home. Charles was the son of Edna E. Sweigart Jones and the late Charles H. Jones, Sr.
He was of the Protestant faith and an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
He enjoyed camping and was a member of the Salt City Vanners and a member of the Rescue Hose Co.
Charles enjoyed fishing the Susquehanna River with his four-legged friend, Bubbles by his side.
In addition to his mother and caregiver, Edna, he is survived by an uncle, Raymond Spade of Liverpool and an aunt, Kathryn Panne-baker of Thompsontown.
A tribute to his life will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Monday, April 12 at the Matinchek & Daughter Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Middletown, with the Rev. Richard Creamer officiating.
Inurnment with Military Honors will be at the convenience of the family in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
