Hey guys,

Kinda struggling here, trying to find 4 capt chairs and a folding bench for my van. Been to junk yards, pull a parts, craigslist and even a little e-bay. I cannot find squat. Who knew it would be so hard. All I seem to find is completely destroyed seats with either the cover or foam inside dry rotted, riped or black with grease.

Can't afford to take them and get them professionally redone. Not even close... Don't imagine they make seat covers for custom conversion seats. Toyed with trying it myself but what I read scares me lol. The chances of finding good condition seats that come close to matching my interior seems like a joke.

Anyone have any suggestions? Things I didn't think about? Success story of redoing seats yourself? Other possible options?

Thanks!

I'm not sure of your budget but I found this in my search for seat options for my van. Too rich for my blood but here's a few ideas.

The 1980 Dodge B-series van that brought me here. It sat untouched in a garage since 1989! I sold it back to the very same guy who drove it 30 years ago for Mobile radio. Sometimes you just have to put a van where it belongs. Glad to see her getting the love it deserves.

Yeah you and me both brother! Idk.. Doing more research and being broke, I may have to do it myself... And by that I mean my wife doing 90% of it lol. Cool link tho. Man if I had lots of money!

I hear you there, my van's driver's seat has an old T-shirt I outgrew covering it.

Also try to put a wanted add on Craigslist. Lots of people scrap out vans with perfect interiors in place.

If you find the seats you want & they are on the other side of the country, have them put them on a Greyhound Bus....
cheaper than postage.

I've got everything you need, only problem is the van comes with it.
I've got two cracked heads on my 93 g20, trying to figure out if I want to mess with it or sell it. I'll make you a deal on the whole van, the interior is blue with 4 captains chairs and a folding bench!

Thanks for the heads up! That seems quite crazy... Wouldn't have figured. Thanks for the info and god I hope I ain't gotta ship em coast to coast.

Maybe I will find a pair by a big truckin someplace. Give me reason to go, as if I needed one ;)
