Change the oil and put Lucas oil treatment in it...the valve seals may be a little dried out

Not knowing any history on the engine.(how hard it was ran or well it was maintained). it is possible the engine did not like the type of oil you used. Is the smoke appearing at start up? big puff. During hard acceleration? After a long decent down a hill ?
Keep an eye on the oil level.Check it frequently as you drive the van. If you do not allow it to go too low it will run fine Untill you get you money together to do a complete rebuild. good luck

And I'd have to agree by the looks of it. At the moment its smoking when I accelerate and start the engine. Last night it was a little even when driving. But this is all kinds sudden. Didn't have this problem a few days ago. But it did smoke a little after I changed the oil last. Gona check the pcv again just to be sure. Maybe a different oil is needed? Some things to look into. Gona see about a compression test as well. Thanks for the thoughts. Any and all are welcomed.
