I have to admit the tie-dyed van is NOT paint. Due to the time constraints to build that van it was WRAPPED. Yes folks...it's a giant decal. We had a local company digitally scan a tie-dyed shirt that the owner wanted matched and wrapped the entire van. That van was built in about 3 weeks. Started as a rusty mess with the quad light grille and trashed interior. This was built as a gift for the customer's brother's birthday. This was all hush-hush. The customer bought a van from Ebay and it was a little worse than imagined. The rear doors were hit and sprung and wouldn't close. The slider wouldn't close. The spare bracket was bent. It needed engine work and a transmission. It was a mess. The brother did not even know we were working on a van for him. We delivered it to his bd party and he was so suprised! That was a cool feeling!!!

He sold that truck in '03 at Goodguys Indy not long afer we finished it. The new owner lives in/around Detroit. SHE shows it regularly at Goodguys shows. It is a nice rig..I was sad to see it leave STL.
