Finally, the driver's side is done. Removing those windows was a nightmare. The rest of the van should be cake. While we were in there, we shaved the fender seams and rear panel seams. [Wink] - -

Looks good, don't know if that's grey primer or not. If it's not, I like that color layout too. [Big Grin]

Looking nice Boot. Like the scoop and the visor. What color will you be painting it when you are done?

Thanks, guys.
The hood I bought from a guy in CT that was parting out a custom, the scoop is steel and functional.

Starlord, it is primer, but after looking at the pics, I'm starting to rethink the one solid color idea.

The van is scheduled to be painted Viper Yellow.

Hmmm. If it were me I would have kept the windows but mounted them longitudinally above the belt line.

Still, looks good!

A split two tone like they do most of the cars on Overhaulin with a third color breaker stripe would look killer.

While I love Johnny O's van, there'll be a lot of differences. I have no plans for flares, and the body mods will stand out more in yellow, I think. Right now we're shaving the cowl vents, and we'll be installing frenched cadillac taillights. I'm also considering painting the van's name on the sides, or maybe on the back door.

Looks great! You did a beautiful job on shaving the handles and mirror holes as well. What about the Viper Yellow on top with a pearl white beneath. Hemi Orange pinstripe with the name lettered in the pinstripe just behind the front doors...
Just a thought. I do also like your wheel choice

that looks very nice. I'm having second thoughts about selling mine. Just wish it was that clean.

good luck with it, Viper yellow will look great. Maybe some murals too. Heres an idea. Have the front end look as if the Paint is peeling and under the paint is the Viper...Nice!

I know where he got those wheels [Big Grin] White, yellow and orange.....I think a bit too brite... All yellow, or yellow and a darker color with an offset stripe break (really thin), but not just a straight line.

Looks great Boot! Make sure you prep that primer real good again before paint, tire shine and primer is NOT a good combo!

Sorry I didn't post earlier. [Frown] Looks so awesome Boot! Please put the name of your van on it somewhere... you could design some really nice script for that.
