Hard to tell from these pictures but I really hope that those were the bare spindles with powder coat on them. Those spindles should have never been powder coated.
Powder coating will add size to metal and block up threaded holes.Enough size to make it hard to drive the new races onto the spindles.

Double check that Mike...........Wookee

I masked mine before sending them to Powder coat, it saved me hours of cleaning. I forgot one thread on the control arm and the powder was so thick the threads were not even visible. It cleans off so nice though, it was sooo worth it.

Powder coating sho has came a long way for sure. I'm building a scooter for a dude and used the candy red as well. That shit is bad ass. It has a mile of depth. Maybe I'm nuts but it doesn't seem as tough as good 'ol black. No matter how careful you are or how much tape you use to cover the new finish it seems ya always drop a wrench or something. It knicked easier.

Looking good man. I'd love to see this rig in person sometime.

My wife and I are hoping to make it to the Nats this year with the van. It all depends on if she can get the time off. She used up most of her vacation time when we went to Hawaii so we have to wait and see.
