Hey All,

I broke a glass on the back quarter of my van and there don't seem to be tons of options for replacing it.

The part is the asymmetrical large pane over the two sliders on the passenger side.

Anyone know where/who to look?

If it's just flat stock, a local glass shop should be able to cut something for you.

That glass is heat treated and tempered, and certified DOT regulation glass, at least here in the U.S. I wouldn't recommend putting in a piece of raw cut glass. In the event of a collision, that could be a disaster, pieces flying everywhere.

Yes, it has to be proper automotive glass.

My neighbor used to build hot rods. For side windows and rear glass on cars with a chopped top (in other words, the flat glass), our local glass company would cut proper tempered safety glass, available in different tints. The only thing they couldn't help with was the laminated windshield. That took a specialist to cut down the original.
