I dunno, probably not a Ca legal setup... | | | Re: Dual Exhaust on a chevy G20? | Joined: Mar 2016 Posts: 22 stranger | OP stranger Joined: Mar 2016 Posts: 22 | The location of the pipe has ZERO effect on trans fluid temp. If you don't mind me asking- how does it have ZERO effect on the trans fluid that in the pan that's an inch away from that ripping hot pipe? I honestly just assumed. I would more then anything love to put my mind at rest and get on with my life. There is no vanity in my idea for dual pipes.

Any good suggestions or pictures on how to straight pipe a 1987 350 cid and keep the cats? Also any good yet cost efficient aftermarket catalytic converter options out there?
Thanks
Ryan

Both are emission exempt. Classic plates require vehicle to be, at least, 15 years old. Antique plates require vehicle to be, at least, 26 years old. Antique plates also do not require annual safety inspection. There are limitations on how these plates are used. My van has Classic plates. I am emissions compliant, but it is not required. I would think other states offer similar programs for older vehicles. 1992 Chevy G20, 110" wheelbase, Mark III conversion, L31/4L80e swap, Express wiring harness.
