I had a great time reviewing my exodus from normal life today.......Thinking about finding another FS van and heading out again soon......Turned out I had some mileage left in me after all.....

In Spring 2010 I left on assignment with a NATO Military Contractor, and spent the next three months in the Arctic, including Northern Labrador, Greenland and Iceland, and made a couple week long round trips to the sand box through Ramstein Air Base in Germany. At the time I could not tell anyone here what I was really doing ( and still can't ) and where I was.

I was based at Canadian Forces Base Goose Bay in Labrador, and that is as far south as I made it for the three months....Although I missed Vanfest, after all that bitter temperatures I really enjoyed Vanning all summer

I don't need to be honoured by Vanning, I am honoured to be Vanning !
