I would check into a chip for the ECU and what it can manage. No sense building an engine the computer can't or won't feed and care for. The stock TBI will still make very good torque for everyday use and torque is king when trying to move what is basically a large brick thru the air.
It sounds like aftermarket parts are kinda pricey in your part of the world.
