I LOVE working on fuel injection swaps as long as I'm not paying the bill. One of my favorite builds (a 1934 ford glass body built by joe that did J&J fiberglass coincidentally) had a fuel injected flathead. I can't tell how much I learned on that. I think these Hemi's would be amazing in a van. I've converted a 74 dodge (scarlet lady making room for a 440) floor to the wider Big Block floor and it's honestly only about an inch wider on the passenger side. not a bad modification.

I was told the Hemi wouldn't work on my 01 Dodge. Something about the torque twisting the hell out of the unibody sub frame. There were several mid Dodges with Hemi engines in them back in the day.....Wango Tango comes to mind as one of them.

Although 392's don't fit well in Ford's angel

Also I heard modern Hemi's use differential and tranny sensors as well. Unless you plan to scrap the puter and go old school you may need everything

Hey, I know that van, lol. The owner once mentioned that he kept breaking motor mounts.

The guys from the local MOPAR club seemed to really like the fuel infection.

A low-mile, junkyard donor engine and aftermarket harness like this one from Nutter Racing might make the swap affordable enough to coax an "okay", or at least a "we'll see" from a resistant but loving spouse. here is an example I found on Moparts forum of available, affordable junkyard motors:

If you can get an '09 truck 5.7 Hemi, they're rated at 390 hp and have the updated Eagle heads that flow really well. FYI. smile

####update#### Motor mounts are ordered and should be here by the middle of next week. Picked up a core block to fit everything will make everything go real smooth.
