It was flashing, but I will pull the plug this evening and check to see that it's a strong spark. I took the PO's word that the plugs were new, but I need to see for myself. | | | Re: New (old-ish) non-running van... | Joined: Mar 2014 Posts: 16 stranger | OP stranger Joined: Mar 2014 Posts: 16 | I have re-routed all the vac lines and I'm fairly confident in them. BUT My eyes have deceived me; there is no spark after all. It's got a new distributor cap, rotor, and I believe a pickup as well. Maybe it's the coil? | | | Re: New (old-ish) non-running van... | Joined: Aug 2001 Posts: 12,107 Likes: 37 Maniac | Maniac Joined: Aug 2001 Posts: 12,107 Likes: 37 | Check the gap on the pickup, make sure the wires to the coil are correctly hooked up.

Is fuel pump running? Is fuel pressure ok? Safeties dont let starter engage in gear. There is an oil pressure shutdown on chevys but it is ignored for a short time aftef starting. 1992 Chevy G20, 110" wheelbase, Mark III conversion, L31/4L80e swap, Express wiring harness.
