my '75 has a different type latch system. not sure of a way to tighten it up. i never use my vent window but not sure i feel like taking everything apart to ever put in a solid one. the latch is on the front lower section so obviously it's tight there but the vent window that's against the roll down window doesn't have as much pressure to keep it tight. Hmm. I bet there is a similar way to tighten up the latch on your 75.

In the pic I showed, I guess I could have squeezed it together at the latch to make it tighter. But I ended up putting in the non-opening wing windows a couple months ago. I did have to grind down the black plastic piece on the wing window where the screw goes through the door into the wing window. There is only 1 screw holding it there where as on the old one there were places for 3 but mine had only 2 in it. Also the opening wing window was connected to the door at the bottom. The non-opening one connects to the inner door panel. Not too hard to do. I'm very happy with it.
