Hagerty wanted almost 1k for a years worth on my 95 which was insured as a replica of a 75 since they cut off at a certain year. I had no idea why so much, perhaps the cost of the "roadside & hotel reimbursement" is expensive. agreed value was only 8k. I have no tickets and only one minor accident where a tire flew off my wrangler and hit a ladies bumper.

Just renewed my insurance for my 75 chevy. $10,000 value with Haggerty. Just over $200.00 for the year. That included their roadside and towing for like 30 miles. That part was $30.00. Their roadside sucks but apparently you cant get the insurance without the roadside.

Haggerty said our 25 year old 1989 van isnt old enough to insure as a classic and needed to be 29 years old before they would consider it

It could a difference in 'driver age' as insurance companies operate that way. I have no idea what ages you guys are...but that could be the difference.

Black79GMC, I was told I had to have another insured car for every driver in my household before I could qualify for classic car insurance. I guess they want to be sure it's not your primary transportation.
