Anyone here ever shipped a Van? Who did you use? Any recommendations?
Ive been searching online and speaking with a ton of "Broker" style companies and it seems like a shady business all in all. I know people have done it, saw a dude ship the "Orange crush" van he bought all the way across the pond. Had a little tracker app for where it was on the ocean and everything, looked professional as shit. Im only shipping from WA to MO so not quite as far but still, the process so far has been a nightmare. Anyone with some experience in that area hit me up!

I shipped a car once. The place the internet led me to was a broker company like u said. The shipping company then contacted me. They were great. The name was Horseless Carriage. They are super nice and very careful with your vehicle.

I used a company called Montway Auto Transport to ship a van from Cal to Ohio about a year ago. They are a broker but everything went well. The cost was about $1400 in total.

Had the "Emerald Express" shipped from New Jersey to Green Bay using a private shipper. Mike Frost 952-210-2600 Awesome guy, had my van within 4 days no problems at all. Kept me updated and sent me pics when it was loaded. 1100 miles and it was here! He's from Milwaukee Wisconsin, goes all over nationwide.

I had a transport set up to bring me the white G30 from cedar rapids to san diego. they quoted me one price then after they saw the van they doubled the fare "extra long double fare". Well I flew there & drove it back for less than they could.

When we bought Wolf-Den years ago, we flew to Boston , met the owners ( GREAT PEOPLE ) , they threw a PARTY to welcome us and say good bye to the van, we had a BLAST, then we drove back home to Oklahoma City, stopped to meet various vanners from here, spent the night with a few and had a great story for around the camp fire at van runs. . . .blown tire, frozen fingers due to faulty heater valve, some of the best cooking we have had in a long time, well worth the cost, time and hard ship of spending a week in the van with the wife ! LOL

My van : 1989 Ford E-150 Econoline, currently named “WOLF-DEN II”
