It was my mistake, the outer tie rod is different between a 86 suburban and my 95 g20. Brakes caliper and rotor are the same. Called belltech but they have zero listings, I said well all the parts are the same minus tie rods they should fit right...they didnt want to give me an answer Probably due to liability

Agree with the moog parts, to answer your other q, kyb shocks are great. While I haven't used them in a "heavy" application, I have them on my chebby celebrity VR wagon and they take anything I throw at them, from a load of tires to fat azzed passengers to very aggressive driving.

There are lots of reports on other forums of quality issues with more recently fabricated MOOG products, since they sent production to Asia. One can always hope to receive the older made in North America stock to arrive. I agree the Problem Solver line from 15 years ago was top knotch. When I did my ball joints, I removed one which the PO had replaced with a Moog PS, and the thing despite the serious beatings I gave it in Baja, was still tight as.

It is my opinion that Moog is riding their formerly good reputation, and once all the stock sold is coming from Asia, and begins failing prematurely, then perhaps their run will be over.

I think Raybestos Professional grade is probably the best available these days. They are the former Spicer. Avoid 'service grade' parts, and I hear that the Dorman control arms use metal half as thin as OEM.

Its all a crapshoot anyway, they will throw anything in a box and sell it. Brand names should be stamped into the metal so one actually has an idea if the quality they seek is within the box, rather than a service grade part.

It sucks being a victim of crappy auto parts, but shopping by price alone has led us down this path.

I read many bad reviews on the dorman arms and stayed away. The control arms they have are the RK series which are cheaper, I decided to kwep my stock ones and just rebuild them. So far my pitman arm that has come in the male is marked made in usa. Still waiting on everything else.
