Hello,
Im a new guy around here. Im also a young guy (28). I am willing to bet a lot of you on here were doing vanning while I was still an infant. Anyway, my love for chevy vans started in 1990 when my mom bought an 84 chevy beauville. She drove that thing forever and I basically grew up around it. Fast forward to this year, I am all grown up, two kids and a wife and a nice job. I sold my 1970 Chevelle that I restored with dad in high school to pay off medical bills and some school loans. I missed that old car feeling. So I went on a search. Well, I was working at Remington Arms recently and they decided to move out of Kentucky. So I was also on the job hunt. I found a job in Louisville at Six Sigma. My new co-worker drove in his grandpa's 1991 Chevy G30 VanCraft conversion van. I took a look at it and had to have it. So I bought it from him.

The van:
1991 G30 VanCraft Conversion. 130,000 miles. 1 Ton. 350 TBI, 4L80E trans with a US Gear overdrive unit. 14-bolt corporate axle with 4.10 gears and factory locking differential.
Its white with blue interior and blue pin striping. Did I mention this thing is mint? It is in such good shape I couldn't believe it. Everything works!
I have the factory window sticker. Factory service manual, repair manual and wiring diagrams. I have every receipt the old man ever got for services. Its been to the 48 states and I have a log book to prove it! Complete with old gas receipts (.98 cents a gallon!!)
THis thing is so cool. It has its own vacuum cleaner. Has pull down shades. TV. Sex lights wink wink. I did put in a modern mp3 player headset and new speakers. It still had the factory delco paper speakers that sounded awful. I will post some pictures soon. I've been busy cleaning and detailing.
So far the only thing it has needed is cleaning, a radio, speakers, an air cleaner, oil change, and a carpet shampoo.

Well, I guess I lied a little. The US Gear unit is whining a little bit. So if any of you have any spare parts for US Gear units please let me know, or I might sell this one and put on a regular transmission tail shaft housing and factory drive shaft.

My van has a vacuum cleaner, tv, the lights and a bed. Mine's not in as good condition as yours, but it works. The vacuum is broken right now though. Does yours have a bed in it?

Hey thanks! I'm really proud of it. My wife and I have a trip planed for Daniel Boone National Forest in October. Going to go do some camping and hiking. With this awesome weather we've had this year we have to get out and take advantage of it.

Post the new pictures? Sorry it took so long for me to respond, school started again and I havn't been on the site whole lot. I really like the bed! I'm sort of jealois of how clean your van is. Mine is nowhere near as clean. Oh well. Anyways, it's a cool van.
