I've been using some carpet that I cut with a utility knife to fit in the front floor of my Chevy Van. Are there any other options out there available for that odd area our feet go on? My searches just turn up standard floor pad/mat and nothing would fit between the tire hump and the engine cover.
What I did after I recarpeted my van with house carpet is I cut two pieces out to fit as front floor mats. I brought the two pieces to my local carpet store and they "bind" them...meaning they see edging all the way around finishing it off. They charged like fifty cents a foot and I spent like $15 total
That's a good idea. I'm glad I saw this. I'd tried Weathertech, since they make custom fit floor mats right here in the U.S., but they don't make any for our vans.
