You know I dig Outta Sight but these "rare bird" factory vans really grab my interest. Everything is looking excellent and the hard work is shining through. It would be great to see it in person if you bring it to nats! "Trendkiller" 1995 Chevy G20 "Southern Gentleman " 1978 Ford E150 Custom Matt 8-0-2% The Vanished of MA/VT

Yes I am Matt, thanks to you, there are many parts from your rally van living on here. As a matter of fact when I put that carb on it ran so and that is what inspired me to rebuild the factory one, I would have used yours but it had the wrong choke set up. I like the customs too but I also do dig these factory special orders vans. I'm gonna bring it to the nats so we'll check out each others stables hahahah

My shorties all way drove great. Some thing different about the way a long bed TBI 700R4 trans equipped van drives and handles with the factory speedo pegged. some people call that a "Sweet Spot" My early has a sweet spot at 80.
.....Wookee

Wook, I must admit the first time I ran this Nomad down the highway runnin real good and I could pay attention to the ride and not the performance I noticed right away that this thing rides like a Cadillac compared to my 77 SWB. I can picture the thing cruising 4 people in captains chairs crankin dual A/C and being real comfortable. The 700R doesn't hurt either.

When I stumbled across big red it had the running gear set up I really wanted. A/c (front) 350, 700 R4 trans.3:45 rear gear ratio.. The running gear and decent condition of the body helped me to over look it was a LWB van. I have mine set up to seat 5 people comfortable. The van has a tom of space in the back to haul all five of the potential riders junk in the back........ Enough room to use a queen sized mattress when using it at Truck Ins

I didn't get to finish the A/C before leaving for the nats but the weather was pretty good so it wasn't a problem. This baby worked double duty all week long at the nats and it played pretty hard too some of you might remember some....not so much. Here it is leaving NJ on the way to the grounds towing Eddie's 66 No-Dice. You don't have to be a Chevy lover to appreciate this photo but it doesn't hurt. Here it is hauling Franks Number 9 to the show field. As for pictures of people partying in the Nomad....... it never happened LOL
