Ok the red '93 just went in for a smog check this morning...... no tune up ... no parts. It needs a oil change so I drove it 20 miles got it hot, put it on the smog diagnostic machine and WA LA !

Every vehicle we ran through the smog machine without a cat tested better than it did with a cat. That was over 5 years of testing.....

Just another note, the state of California required my van to go to a certified "Star Test Station" which I don't know what the difference between "Test Only Station". I just found out about it when I received my DMV notice and just assummed that I have no choice other than to go to "Start Test Station" only.

Also, my van sits 5 out 7 days a week and only drive it one some especial errands and to get the circulated to prevent any problems that comes with sitting vans. My van get its real use (and worth) on long roadtrips two or three times a year. So, to me it's still worth to keep its maintainance.

My van or "DaMonster" as my kids call 'Her', love her as much as I do. DaMonster only has 79,000 miles and still runs strong and plan to keep her as long as possible. She's showing her age, but I still love her and will keep her when she's old and ugly as I would say to my wife sometimes.

I took mine in today as it was due by tomorrow. The man scanned my registration and put my sticker on. That's knowing the inspector.

I had to go to a "Star Station" also, its a good thing cause the govt will help you pay to get it into shape.
