There were 3 groups of media folk at the Nationals. I had the pleasure/honor of talking to all 3 and spending almost all day Saturday showing 2 of them around. Kristin from KruzinUSA.com has her blog part one posted along with a bunch of pics.
www.kruzinUSA.com it loads slow, but well worth the wait! Go to Ponygirls blog to see the article.

Hemmings had a writer there, and he has posted an article and pics on their site as well...I don't have the link, but it, too is worth a read.

The 3rd group were Martha and Zoey from NY City. They are working on a documentary which they hope to sell to the NY Times documentary website. They did extensive interviews around camp with different folks than were in Vannin-the movie. Their focus is different, so it will be interesting to see what they come up with.

Here's Daniel Strohl from Hemmings first article/blog on the Nats : http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/...tional-truck-in/#PhotoSwipe1406077573485 I sent him a vanner care package yesterday with the latest Custom Vanner Magazine, Rolling Heavy as well as the Vannin Movie to help him do his followup article and possible magazine article. He'll be amused to watch the movie and recognize many of the vanners he met on Friday. Also working on getting a feature on one of the vans in a national magazine that I've worked with before. Maybe we can even get the event covered, we did last time we were in New York with another magazine. There's a core group of vanners who do try to get the media coverage. We've been fortunate to have Howard as part of that all along, thank you my friend ! A very memorable time is when Howard and I went to the Hot Rod Magazine offices in California during the 2011 CofC. I guess we made a good impression on them, as they covered the van show we put on and ran that in the July 2011 issue.

Here's some videos we did for fun. The first one is meant to be satire. Second one is just bitchin' burnouts.

Great Job Wilben! It's always nice to be able to add a name to a face.
