I dont have a title yet but the production date is April 1968. I just need some new window seals.

There has been a debate about this before (about the 1968 model year) and the 2nd generation Ford vans began production in early 1968 like this red one.

As for the window seals, they are impossible to buy new as far as I'm aware. There are many people (like me) waiting for some reputable company to produce them.

Repop makes them, I have them in my spare room, waiting for install, bought them on ebay 2 years ago for my 73, FYI Ford workers were on strike in 68, so no vans tagged that year.

Earlies or mids could be tagged as a 68 although somewhat rare. I've seen examples of both. My E300 is a 68 also. From what I have been told the 67 production year ran long and the 69's started earlier than normal. I think it has to do with how they got titled and not necessarily what the window sticker read.
