Got the gearbox adjusted. It was a 5/8 box end wrench and the stud was a flathead screwdriver slot, not an Allen wrench. I wish it had been an allen wrench. I ended up using a pair of vise grips.

The rag joint looked good, but if I still have slop I will look closer.

Off for a test drive.

Sorry, the allen must be on Mopars. It's been a while since I've done one.

No worries. I was just giving you grief. Adjustment was actually fairly easy once I figured out how to work in such a tight spot.

Just for future knowledge harbor freight tools sell an inch pound 1/4 torque wrench. Picked one up during their ”parking lot sale” for 9.99...

SK make a very nice torque wrench that measures in both inch and foot pounds
