So I knew for a while that i had some issues with my steering column mechanics and the electronics but it finally gave out on me. Not a big deal because My pops lent me his van for the time being. Anywho I found myself a new column and everything with the swap has been easy as eating pie except for disconnecting the shifting linkage from the column. there isn't a spring clip but instead that little protrusion from the bushing. Now my repair manual doesn't tell me if there's a special tool needed or not for this job nor does it mention any nifty tricks. So I'm asking y'all if you know the low down on this particular project of mine.
