I just picked up an '87 G10 shorty. I like the older style front end, and have a line on a '76 chrome grille, complete with turn signals. Are there any differences in front fenders between the years that will keep me from using the older style? I know I will have to fabricate some round headlight buckets, but are there any other problems to be encountered?

I BELIEVE the front fenders are all the same. . . So you SHOULD be ok. Best of luck and keep us posted.

Things are different, but it will work without major modifications. The upper tie bar for the radiator support may need to be trimmed so the old grille sits flush at the top. The newer grille sits inside, the older one sits on top. The headlights will be the most work, but even that isn't a big deal.

Do you know if I will be able to retain my A/C? I've seen some conflicting opinions on this site as to whether the radiator and condenser will need to be moved back.

You shouldn't need to move the radiator or the condenser.
