hi I'm gunther vanner from belgium, got from my wife a honeymoon gift and we would like to come to the van nationals. but would like some more information, we rent a dodge caravan and is it possible to use this vehicle on the premises? and from which day are we welcome? and I would like a little information on whether there are somewhere in the weekends before and after the nationals car shows or other events in ohio. We arrive in new york around 07/01/2013. and leave on 07-25-2013. So also would have liked a bit proposals about things we definitely should not miss such as museums and other sites . Welcome aboard! First 2 answers are easy...you may bring the rental van, no problem...the grounds open at noon on Monday, and all are welcome for the whole week. There is a huge car show in Columbus, Ohio right around then called Goodguys. It usually has over 3000 vehicles of all types, pre 1976. That show is about 80 miles west. Other than that, others on here, I am sure will share more information as time goes on. A must see just north of the Nationals is Rollie's Econobar and vanning collection.

Glad to see such dedication to making it over to the Nationals! Pittsburgh, PA is a nice town to visit about 90 miles east of the fairgrounds (between NYC & Nationals).
