I would like to lower the van 2" front and rear, I want the slight rake to the van. I have the composite rear leafs.
I have found a 2" drop spindle for the front, but how do I lower the rear?

If the axle is below just move the axle to the top of the spring or get new shackles to lower it. Check out some s10 sites. I think it is a similar set up.
When Chris Farley talked about living in a van down by the river, did anybody else think that wasn't such a bad idea?

I think it is a similar set up. a astro is more 1/2 ton than a s10, but rest of what he said is good info, and if I had a astro I would get away from that fiber glass leaf and get some real leafs, as I have seen a fair amount crack

It would be a good idea to switch to the newer steel leaf springs. Pretty sure it is a easy swap, check out the astrosafari website for more info

Sorry I don't remember the company I bought it from, that was over 20 years ago. You are lucky you can buy spindles for the front, those weren't available when I built Razz-Ama-Tazz, I had to cut the coils.

Now just have to decide if we are keeping the Astro or not.
