Fan switch will not operate the fan blower now. Any ideas on this fix?

No vent air at any setting.

Start at the source.
Check the fuse, have a cold beverage, then check at the fan motor connector for power, have another cold beverage. Then yank the dash and check the switch, after you enjoy a cold beverage.
Process of elimination. grin

Thanks. That is better than replacing all the possible causes!

I forget what it is called, but check the resistor deal that controls the speed of the fan, if it over heated, it will die and will keep the fan from working. . . .

Edit
It is USUALLY mounted under the hood in the fan box, the part you will see is like two inch by two inch square.

check to see if your blower motor is working, you can also check the ground wire, i added a new ground wire to the fan motor(it was grounded to the the housing and did not make for a good ground, and like uncle fester said, 1)the blower motor Resister,2)Blower motor relay,3)Blower switch(in dsah control switch )you can go to rockauto.com and put in your info for your van and see what each part looks like.joe

I checked the fuse and its ok. I opened the hood to look for something out of the ordinary, then slammed it shut. Tried the fan again and. . . IT WORKED. This has me puzzled now as I don't know what to test or check since its working again. I am guessing blower switch on the dash????

Sounds like a ground issue.

How do I access the blower motor in a 93 Chevy G20? I want to check the ground on the blower and see if that is the culprit here. If the connection is good, then I will check the blower switch at the dash. Thanks for the input!
